The Capri Legacy
Capri Imports Deli and Catering is a Sementilli family owned business since 1973. We are known for our subs/sandwiches, daily hot specials, delicious salad case offerings, catering, frozen meals, imported products including pastas, olive oils, jarred goods, espresso machines, pizzelle makers, pasta makers, baked goods, etc. On the site we will sell and ship imported products nationwide.

Three Generations of Tradition
1973
The Beginning
Original owners in 1973, Peter and Gina Sementilli worked tirelessly to provide Schenectady and surrounding communities with food and service to reflect their family heritage. Along with their daughter Lucy, their hard work and dedication laid the foundation of what Capri Imports is today.

1993
The Next Generation
In 1993, Peter (Peter and Gina’s son) and Karen Sementilli took over the family business and added new imported goods, baked items, and continued the family traditions. Peter elevated the business with new imported items and ideas to make it a staple Italian deli in our area.
2020
Continuing the Legacy
In 2020, Anthony Sementilli (Peter and Karen’s cousin) was passed the torch to continue the Capri legacy that has been around for over 50 years. Anthony is humbled and honored to carry on the Sementilli family’s legacy at Capri Imports. He looks forward to continuing the traditions for years to come.
